Zachary Gersten is a Project Administrator at the Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition, at which he also works on the International Dietary Data Expansion (INDDEX) Project and the Fellowships workstream of Innovative Methods and Metrics for Agriculture and Nutrition Actions (IMMANA). He received his MPH in Global Health from the Boston University School of Public Health. Mr. Gersten has previously coordinated projects in comparative biology, public health, African language education (Wolof, isiZulu, kiSwahili), African language preservation, workforce development, and healthcare management. Mr. Gersten speaks and writes advanced Wolof through five years of training through the U.S. Department of Education Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship.
